A 33-year-old Taranaki man was struck and killed by a truck as he walked to work early this morning.The Midhurst local was walking down State Highway 3 between Midhurst and Stratford when he was hit about 4.30am, Sergeant Geoff Winter of Stratford police said.The man was believed to have been walking on the road, within a road lane, as he headed to work at a local business.
