MY ASPIRATION COTTAGE

Yea I have won a prize that I can choose and I choose a cottage which is wonderful and beautiful. The cottage has six rooms that are all different sizes.

My cottage is big as a normal house but it is kind of different to other cottages and wonderful. In the front of the house there are small garden on each side of the stairs. The stairs are the same colour as the house; it also got orange trees by the mailbox. There is also got a nice pathway that goes straight to the house.

When you walk into the house you will see the beautiful lounge it is not that big but it is wonderful it has a nice and beautiful fireplace. On the fireplace it has lovely photos of my family altogether on each side of the photo it has lovely candles. It has about four couches; the couches are black with white cushions. There is also a theatre screen TV it has at the bottom of the TV the DVD player and stand.

Then you can see the kitchen which is so wonderful and it has the bests table which can fit about six people on it. The kitchen has the nicest stove and oven and also nice cupboards. It has a TV in it as well, you can watch what ever you want to it has games and DVD and heaps more.

Then when you see down the hall you well end up by the bathroom and toilet its has a big bath tub. It also has a nice beautiful sink it has the most wonderful walls and the ground is fanatic. The best’s mats all around the bathroom the toilet is like a fairy tale.

There are two bedrooms the first bedroom has the bests view. The bed is a king sized one and has pink and black dots on the blanket and pillow case. There are two couches that are black with pink cushions. There is also and big LCD scene TV it comes out of the wall and there is a play station and DVD player it has a bathroom and toilet as well in the room. The next room is the same but the blankets and cushions are different colours. There colours are white and black and there is only and big normal TV in there.

I just can’t believe that I won the meanest prize of my life and that is want I dreamed about.

Landforms are mountains, volcanoes, streams, lakes, oceans, valleys, hills and much more. The main things that I will be telling you about are how mountains are formed, how volcanoes erupt, the theory of tectonic plates and what makes up the amazing earth.

There are four tectonic plates around the world. They fit together like huge puzzle pieces. The forces beneath earth’s surface cause the plates to shift and move. When plates rub together volcanoes or earthquakes appear on the boundaries. Mountains are formed from plates pushing together, rubbing and colliding

Mountains are formed when pressured on the earths crust forces it to rise. It also pushes large blocks of rocks upwards. The earth’s core is similar to an apple core. The deeper you into the centre of the earths core it gets hotter and hotter. The earth is made up of an ‘outer crust; the mantle, an outer and inner core.

Landforms are constantly changing. These changes are caused by volcanoes, weathering, humans and glaciers. This is called continental drift. Pangaea is an ancient super continent that has drifted apart over millions of years.

When learning about landforms I found out that Australia has no tectonic plates. I also found out about the earths core and how volcanoes and mountains are formed and erupt.
